 Viking Agility Week 2009 (VAW09) A week with posibilities to compete agility. The arrangement is made possible by 8 dog assosiations in Norway. This will be the first agilityweek in Norway in 6 years, and will alså be Norways biggest agility event this year. The week will contain 6-days of competition in the period from 12. to 18. july. It will be held at Hove Leirsenter on Tromøya, the biggest iland in the south of Norway. - Viking Agility Week 09 will be held in one of the most popular family vacation resorts in Norway.
- The city of Arendal is located at the southern coastline of Norway, approximately 4 hours car drive from Oslo or about 45 minutes from Kristiansand (with many ferries arriving from the European Continent) just before the coastline turns into a northbound direction again.
- One of the nearby attractions is the Kristiansand Zoo with many popular and famous animals and shows - for both children and adults.
- The Viking Agility Week 2009 (“VAW09”) will take place between 12 - 18 July 2009. Wednesday 15th July will be a resting day without any competitions.
- The island resort of Tromøya just outside Arendal town is host for the competition, and the agility will take place at the football field of Hove Leir, an old military campus with lots of space and possibilities for camping and very good surroundings for dog walking.
- Room renting will be possible in the old military barracks. The arrangement committee (“VAC”) is still in the planning period, but there will be news at this page as soon as they are available.
